Good news! Thanks to the hard work of dedicated Frank Travesty fans around the world, my entry in the Hollywood Undead "Le Deux" remix competition placed 12th out of 163! So thank you all so much!
The grand prize winner, as selected by the competition promoters, gets announced Sep 12 - so I'm still in the running for that. I'll let you all know.
In the meantime, I've entered another remix competition - this time for Jason Derulo's "Don't Wanna Go Home" - and this time, voting closes Sep 14... and there are 511 other entries to beat! So this time, I really need everyone's help!
So please follow the link below and swing me as many votes as you have email addresses. And remember...
- you have to log into each email to confirm your vote.
- if you don't see the email from Indaba, check your spam/junk.
- tell your friends to swing me votes, it takes seconds!

Thanks so much guys. I really appreciate it all.
I've entered a remix competition at Indaba Music remixing "Le Deux" by Hollywood Undead and part of the judging process is based on votes... so...
I'm asking you all to CLICK ON THIS link and vote for my remix...
While you're there I guess you might like to listen to it as well and while you're at it, check out some of the other remixes on offer - there's some pretty stiff competition in some of them.
Voting ends Sep 5, 2011 at 10:00 PM IST so don't delay... and tell your friends to check it out or at the very least take a minute out of their day to vote.
If you have a blog or website or myspace or somewhere you can paste code in a post or page, then I'd also ask that you check out the "Promote my entry" box on the right of the page - grab the code that pops up when you hit the button and post it about the place to help promote my mix.
Thanks in advance guys, and listen out soon for more announcements regarding new tracks and at least one more remix I'm working on.
It's time to get excited people!
Today, as promised, I've released my latest album "Round Two, Fight!" as a FREE download! You can find it plus 4 internet releases and B-Sides on the "Download Free Tracks" page.
Initially I wanted to wait until I had the three bonus tracks I've been working on finished. The plan was originally to also release a purchasable CD version with the bonus tracks. Now I'm thinking I'll release them soon as an EP or simply as Internet downloads, so look out for them.
In other news, I'm now looking to get "Round Two, Fight!" reviewed for some extra coverage. If you know of any indie style music blogs and sites that review new music, please let me know.
Beyond that, I'd love some feedback, especially on certain issues - so I'm going to pose the following question...
Q: If Frank Travesty continued to make quality music available for free download, would you be tempted to buy Frank Travesty merchandise if some were available? And if so, what merch would you like to see?
Welcome back to FrankTravesty.com
Today marks the release of the final two tracks from my forth coming album, "Round Two, Fight!" which will soon be available to download for FREE from the "Download Free Tracks" page.
The new tracks are "Burning Both Ends" (a middle eastern toned big beat romp, complete with Indian style chants) and "You Could Be Broken" (a quirky hippie themed electro rock out) - as per usual I hope you enjoy them and would love to know what you think about them.
Today, as has been the tradition for the past 3 weeks, I've released another two tracks, both on the official website and on ReverbNation (links provided below).
I really hope you enjoy the psychotic electronic energy of "Ode" and the smooth grooves of "Final Approach".
As per usual, I'd love to know what you think so drop me a line on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Frank-Travesty/8365109708 ).
Hi there Frank fans!
Just a quick post to let you all know that today I've uploaded yet another two tracks - "Save Our Souls" and "Fly the White Flag" - both fresh examples of more big beaty goodness.
Hope you all enjoy them... in the meantime, I'm going to be working on another two tracks to release next week.
Hi! And welcome to the newly launched franktravesty.com!
Since getting "back in the saddle" you may have noticed (apart from the new website) that I've uploaded two new tracks - "One, Two, Three!" and "Blue Balls" on the "Listen to Tracks" page. These will soon be available for free download as part of my second album, "Round Two, Fight!" and can also be heard through Facebook and ReverbNation. If you'd like to know when said album is released for download, join up to the mailing list.
Today I've released another two tracks - both of which will also be available on "Round Two, Fight!". The newest tracks are "Crystal" and "Mockstar" and can also be heard on the "Listen to Tracks" page, Facebook and ReverbNation. I'd love to know what you think about them.
And so a pattern emerges - the plan (track wise) is to release two new tracks from the new album each week until it's release. There will also be a whole bunch of B-Sides coming out soon after, combined with the last round of "internet releases" that I put out on ReverbNation.
In the meantime, I'm also looking for licensing opportunities so if any of you are aspiring film makers, game developers, dancers or choreographers (or know any) and would like to have my music feature in a production you're working on, by all means, please let me know about it.
